Maeba Jonas
Rev. Maeba Jonas is an Interfaith Chaplain and Ordained Minister in the United Church of Christ (UCC). She earned a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School with a certificate in Education, Leadership, and Ministry. Rev. Jonas completed a CPE Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital and is a member of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Educators. As a Fulbright Scholar in Nepal, she examined faith-based responses to social change amongst Theravada Buddhist nuns. She is a certified trauma-informed yoga instructor and meditation teacher and is a long-time retreat leader focused on the body-mind-spirit connection. She served on the founding Board of Directors for the Association for Chaplaincy and Spiritual Life in Higher Education and is leader in the Contemplatives in Action working group through the UCC. Rev. Jonas currently serves as Chaplain and Director of Religious & Spiritual Life at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland.
